资源简介:
"ClimRR provides data about future conditions and environmental extremes to help us better plan and adapt for the future. Using one of the world's largest supercomputers, ClimRR datasets provide among the most comprehensive, free dynamically downscaled projections for the United States." From https://climrr.anl.gov/ 27/06/2025<br><br>"ClimRR (pronounced Cl“eye”mer) gives state, local, tribal and territorial emergency managers and other community leaders access to highly localized, neighborhood level climate projections from mid- to the end of the century. Produced using a supercomputer to model over 60 climate variables, ClimRR data provides the most sophisticated, free dynamically downscaled projections for the United States.<br><br>The data in ClimRR is produced by the Center for Climate Resilience and Decision Science at the United States Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory using climate modeling that is among the most sophisticated methodologies worldwide. ClimRR makes extensive climate datasets available in a non-technical format. The climate projections are produced using the dynamical downscaling method, which simulates the many different processes affecting the atmosphere, ocean and land. This approach enables users to visualize risk at a small geographic size, 12km grids."
