This data set contains the following replication data files for an economic online experiment about "Confidence, Overconfidence, and Exposure in Financial Market Decisions" which was conducted by Ostfalia Laboratory for Experimental Economic Research (OLEW) from January 30th to February 1st, 2026: 1) otree programming files (.zip [file structure can best be seen in the tree view]); 2) the results and analysis data files (.csv, .RData); 3) a data dictionary explaining the variables in the results data file (PDF, .xlsx); 4) screenshots of the experimental web pages (PDF); 5) a spreadsheet containing the actually correct forecasts ex post (.csv); 6) a spreadsheet containing the hourly stock prices in the week after the experiment (.csv).
