Stool microbiota from Mayan families. Age, town size, season, and food sourcing strategy evaluation

Deep shotgun metagenomic evaluation of stool samples from individuals belonging to Mayan families. Mothers and their children and babies belonging to small towns mostly devoted to traditional peasant subsistence food sourcing strategy, and big towns, mostly transformed with a grocery-store food sourcing, were sampled in abundance (rainy) and scarcity (dry) seasons. Food intake and anthropometric data were taken as metadata.
