Expression data for hTERT-immortalized human Sertoli cell line versus original primary human Sertoli cells

Primary human Sertoli cells (hSerCs) were immortalized by transducing human TERT into the genome to produce human TERT-immortalized human Sertoli cells (hTERT hSerCs). Total RNA was isolated from both primary hSerCs and hTERT hSerCs and submitted for Affymetrix gene analysis. Gene expression differences of common Sertoli cell marker genes and xenobiotic transporters was preferentially assessed between each cell type. Two pooled RNA samples from each cell type were analyzed and data was exported with log2 quantitative signals for further fold-change analysis.
