The study aimed at providing a characterization of the effect of a probiotic formula containing Lactoplantibacillus plantarum (formerly Lactobacillus plantarum) and Levilactobacillus brevis (formerly Lactobacillus brevis) on the hepatic function and intestinal microbiota of individuals with Metabolism-Associated Fatty Liver (MAFL). This database contains the 16S-sequencing data of stool samples provided at baseline and after 4 months of intervention.
