Solid Waste Management Knowledge Base

This knowledge base intends to document SWMS-related knowledge around the world with a focus in the U.S. and EU for the Bee2Waste Crypto project. This knowledge base aims to collect data on waste characterization, waste generation,  management practices for solid wastes generated by the public sector (e.g. municipal solid waste (MSW), construction and demolition (C&D) debris, electronic wastes, disaster debris, etc.). Besides, this knowledge base attempts to capture the socioeconomic contexts as well as performance metrics of SWMS, including economic benefits, environmental footprints, and societal impacts.

本知识库旨在全球范围内记录与SWMS（固体废物管理系统）相关的知识，尤其聚焦于美国和欧盟地区，以支持Bee2Waste加密项目。知识库旨在收集有关废物特征化、废物产生、以及公共部门（例如：市政固体废物（MSW）、建筑拆除（C&D）废弃物、电子废物、灾害废弃物等）产生的固体废物管理实践的数据。此外，知识库还力求捕捉SWMS的社会经济背景以及性能指标，包括经济效益、环境足迹和社会影响。
