Meteorological_inputs

This dataset contains the meteorological inputs required by the particle filter for our manuscript "Large-scale snow data assimilation using a spatialized particle filter: recovering the spatial structure of the particles". They are provided as 10km by 10km grids of precipitation and temperature (min and max). Each .mat file contains daily meteorological data for an entire year, and each variable has the format 200 lines x 265 columns x 365 or 366 days. The variables lat and lon provide the coordinates of the grid points, "pr" is the total daily precipitation, "pr_var" is the kriging variance for precipitation, "tas_max" and "tas_min" are the maximum and minimum daily temperature, respectively, with "tasmax_var" and "tasmin_var" their kriging variance. "tv" is the time vector.
