This dataset is associated with the paper "TreeLearn: A deep learning method for segmenting individual trees from ground-based LiDAR forest point clouds" published in Ecological Informatics. The dataset contains: 1 manually segmented MLS scan of a forest plot. 18 automatically segmented MLS scans of forest plots. code for opening the forest point clouds in python pre-trained model weights for tree segmentation. A thorough explanation of all files contained in this data repository can be found in ReadMe.txt. A comprehensive description of the forest point clouds is given in the linked publication.
