Ice-snow tourism serves as a crucial engine for driving regional development,and its sustainability hinges on an in-depth analysis of the relationship between tourists'internal drives and behavioral intentions.This study takes 637 ice-snow tourists at Xiling Snow Mountain in China as thesample,integrating six dimensions of internal drives:emotion,self,social interaction,knowledge,value,and environment.By employing Fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis(fsQCA),it explores the impact mechanism of internal drive configurations on behavioral intentions.The results indicate that a single internal drive is not a necessary condition for high behavioral intentions.There are eight equivalent configuration paths,which can be categorized into three types:core internal drives working in synergy,key internal drives achieving breakthroughs,and partial internal drives complementing each other.Emotion,social interaction,and environment play central roles in most configurations,and there are significant substitution effects among the factors.This study reveals the complex causal mechanism underlying the formation of ice-snow tourism behavioral intentions,providing practical implications for precision marketing and product optimization at destinations.
