资源简介:
This dataset contains a balanced panel of 62 countries spanning the period 2000-2021 and is designed to examine the relationship between economic development and health-adjusted life expectancy (HALE), with a particular focus on the moderating role of oil consumption and cross-country heterogeneity between oil-producing and non-oil-producing economies. The dataset includes indicators on health outcomes, economic development, energy use, environmental quality, and institutional factors. Health-adjusted life expectancy (HALE) is used as a comprehensive measure of population health. Economic development is proxied by real income per capita, while oil consumption captures access to petroleum-based modern energy services. The data were compiled from internationally recognised databases: • World Development Indicators (World Bank) • World Health Organisation (WHO) • Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI) • BP Statistical Review (for oil consumption) The dataset is suitable for replication, extension, and comparative cross-country analysis in development economics, health economics, and energy-environment research.
