This project includes a collection of genome annotations for most type species on the Saccharomyces clade, the only exception is S. cerevisiae strain CEN.PK113-7D. Annotations were obtained from a variety of sources and are deposited here for the benefit of the scientific community working with Saccharomyces species as yeast models. This project will facilitate access to these annotations using the NCBI services instead of the custom-made web services from which they were collected. Species not included here have been already made available in NCBI by their original authors (S. eubayanus, and S. kudriavzevii ), or have not been annotated S. cerevisiae (CBS 1171 for which the working reference is strain S288C).
