This dataset centers on human activity intensity data for the Loess Plateau, with a spatial resolution of 1 km. It encompasses two types of data: human activity intensity data specific to the Loess Plateau, and normalized terrestrial surface human activity intensity data. The data sources include the National Geophysical Data Center of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Resources and Environment Data Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Tibetan Plateau Data Center, and the Worldpop website (https://www.worldpop.org/). The dataset is finalized through four sequential processing steps: preprocessing, geographic projection, normalization, and raster calculation. It can provide data support for fine-grained quantification of human activity intensity, future territorial spatial planning of the Loess Plateau, and ecological environment restoration.
