Data on species occurrence for two landscape experiments using Opuntia cactus. Experiment 1 contrasts random to aggregated loss of cactus under different levels of habitat loss. Experiment 2 contrasts changes in the number of patches for low and high habitat loss. Occurrence at the patch-scale can be summarized at the landscape scale based on the frequency of patches occupied.  Files for Experiment 1: Fletcher_etal_2023_Expt1_Trt_Patch: Occurrence data at the patch scale for three species in treated landscapes. SurveyDate is the date of each survey, SurveyNumber is the ordered rank of survey date, Plot_Number is the landscape, and patch size is area based on the length/width of the patch. Frag is aggregated or random pattern of loss. Habitat2015 is the number of patches remaining post treatment, Habitat2014 is the initial number of patches. PropLost is the proportion of patches removed. Patch is the Patch ID.  Fletcher_etal_2023_Expt1_Trt_Control: Occurrence data at the patch scale for three species in control landscapes.
