Metagenome assembly of a novel Coxiella species from pericardial fluid of a hyacinth macaw (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus)

This BioProject contains a high-quality metagenome-assembled genome of a Coxiella species recovered from the pericardial fluid of a hyacinth macaw (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) during a fatal infection. The genome was reconstructed from Illumina metagenomic sequencing data. The data provide insights into the genomic features of avian-associated Coxiella and expand the diversity of known Coxiella species.
