This project investigates the acute transcriptional responses in a murine model of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury. Mice were subjected to 60 minutes of ischemia followed by reperfusion and were then treated with free HS38, STEER-HS38, or left untreated. Cardiac tissue was harvested 24 hours post-reperfusion, and RNA-seq was performed to elucidate the transcriptional landscape associated with these different conditions.
