Pemivibart Resistance in SARS-CoV-2 is Statistically Unrelated to Ambient Temperature or Air Quality in England (2025)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises 13,679 high-quality SARS-CoV-2 genomes collected across England in 2025, processed through standardized local pipelines. It includes per-sequence annotations of resistance-associated Spike mutations for 11 clinically relevant monoclonal antibodies (including Pemivibart/VYD2311), collection month, and linked environmental metadata (monthly temperature and Air Quality Index). The data reveal near-complete population-level resistance to all authorized and investigational mAbs, with no statistically significant association between resistance prevalence and ambient temperature or air pollution. This resource supports open, non-commercial research into viral evolution, therapeutic efficacy, and pandemic preparedness. This study also highlights vulnerability statistics of population to Pemivibart (VYD2311) therapeutic. Genomic surveillance of 1535 SARS-CoV-2 isolates revealed a resistance prevalence of 95.8%, driven by the near-fixation of F456L (92.3%) and F486P (91.6%), rendering the circulating variants effectively refractory to this investigational monoclonal antibody.
