2017年海山多波束数据

本数据是在中国科学院战略性科技先导专项“热带西太平洋海洋系统物质能量交换及其影响”和科技部基础资源调查专项“西太平洋典型海山生态系统科学调查”2017年任务计划安排，开展西太平洋卡洛琳海山的系统性调查。拟就海山及临近海域的物理化学环境、生物多样性特点、生态系统基本结构特征开展多学科综合调查与研究。 数据是基于ROV的大型底栖生物图像及样品的采集获取，利用“发现”号ROV对海山生物群落进行原位观测和取样，获取大型生物影像资料；利用船载设备获取导航数据、多波束数据、浅剖数据和各种传感器数据。

This dataset was derived from a systematic survey of the Caroline Seamount in the Western Pacific, conducted under the 2017 work plans of two research programs: the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences entitled "Matter and Energy Exchange in the Tropical Western Pacific Ocean System and Its Impacts", and the Special Fund for Basic Resources Survey of the Ministry of Science and Technology entitled "Scientific Survey of Typical Seamount Ecosystems in the Western Pacific".
This survey aims to perform interdisciplinary comprehensive investigations and studies on the physico-chemical environment, biodiversity characteristics, and basic structural traits of the ecosystem in the seamount and its adjacent waters.
The data were acquired through ROV-based macrobenthos imaging and sampling: the "Discovery" ROV was deployed for in-situ observation and sampling of seamount biological communities to obtain large benthic organism image datasets; onboard instruments were used to collect navigation data, multibeam bathymetric data, sub-bottom profiler data, and various sensor data.
