This repository contains the data and R scripts used in the study "Effectiveness of temporal matching in ecological niche models: Insights for a low-dispersing species." The study focuses on the Mexican small-eared shrew (Cryptotis mexicanus) and compares the performance of ENMs built with environmental data averaged over different temporal resolutions (one-, five-, and ten-year periods, aligned with occurrence dates) against the standard approach using 30-year climatic averages.
