This dataset contains Raman, SERS, ATR-FTIR, and SEIRA spectra of bradykinin B2 receptor antagonist peptides together with nanoparticle characterization data (UV–Vis, SEM, DLS, XRD) for silver and gold plasmonic nanoparticles used as enhancing substrates, and includes the spectra reported in the associated publication “SERS- and SEIRA-Based Characterization and Sensing of Highly Selective Bradykinin B2 Receptor Antagonists”. Nanoparticle characterization (AgNPs, AuNPs, plasmonic nanoparticles) UV–Vis spectroscopy (surface plasmon resonance, nanoparticle optical properties) Samples: Colloidal silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) obtained by chemical reduction of AgNO₃ with NaBH₄ and colloidal gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) stabilized with citrate. Instrumentation: UV–Vis spectrophotometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific). Measurement parameters: Spectra were recorded for aqueous nanoparticle suspensions at room temperature in the visible spectral range to monitor their surface plasmon resonance band. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging (nanoparticle morphology, size analysis) Samples: Colloidal Au nanoparticles deposited on a silicate plate and dried under vacuum. Instrumentation: Versa 3D Dual Beam scanning electron microscope (Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA). Measurement parameters: Accelerating voltage of 10 kV. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) (hydrodynamic size distribution) Samples: Aqueous nanoparticle suspensions. Instrumentation: Zetasizer Nano ZS analyzer (Malvern Instruments, UK) equipped with an avalanche photodiode detector. Measurement parameters: Measurements were performed at 25 °C to determine the volumetric particle size distribution. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) (crystal structure, phase identification) Samples: Nanoparticle samples prepared for structural characterization. Instrumentation: Aeris diffractometer (PANalytical, The Netherlands). Measurement parameters: Cu Kα₁ radiation (λ = 1.5406 Å), angular range 10–80° (2θ). Peptide characterization (bradykinin B2 receptor antagonists) Raman spectroscopy (Raman, vibrational spectroscopy) Samples: Solid bradykinin B2 receptor antagonist peptides. Instrumentation: InVia Raman spectrometer (Renishaw, UK), CCD detector, Leica microscope (20× objective). Parameters: 785 nm excitation, laser power 20 mW, spectral resolution 4 cm⁻¹, acquisition time 40 s, 4 accumulations. Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS, plasmon-enhanced Raman) Samples: Aqueous peptide solutions (10⁻⁴ M) mixed with colloidal AgNPs or AuNPs; incubation time 15 min. Instrumentation: InVia Raman spectrometer (Renishaw, UK), CCD detector, Leica microscope (20× objective). Parameters: 785 nm excitation, laser power 20 mW, spectral resolution 4 cm⁻¹, acquisition time 40 s, 4 accumulations. Attenuated total reflection Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR, vibrational spectroscopy) Samples: Solid bradykinin B2 receptor antagonist peptides. Instrumentation: Nicolet 6700 FTIR spectrometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA) equipped with a diamond ATR accessory. Parameters: Spectral resolution 4 cm⁻¹, 128 scans. Surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy (SEIRA, plasmon-enhanced IR) Samples: Aqueous peptide solutions (10⁻⁴ M) mixed with AgNPs or AuNPs; the mixture was deposited on a diamond ATR crystal, dried, and washed to remove unbound molecules. Instrumentation: Nicolet 6700 FTIR spectrometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA) equipped with a diamond ATR accessory. Parameters: Spectral resolution 4 cm⁻¹, 128 scans.
