资源简介:
Abstract This study investigates the relation between the daily activities performed in childhood and the cognitive functions of problem solving and attention. Among daily activities, reading, sports practice, computer access, and interaction with games were analyzed. Therefore, a questionnaire was organized in three parts, including data on the children’s profile, the record of the frequency of the daily activities and the evaluation of the presence of behaviors taken as indicators of problem solving and attention performance. The questionnaire was answered by the children’s guardians, considering their perception. We analyzed data results from a sample of 162 children aged 6-11. The results revealed the association between reading and attention, and between computer access and playing games with problem-solving ability.
