Data and Analysis Scripts for the Manuscript "An Individual-Based Model of Breeding-Season White Storks (Ciconia ciconia) in Germany"

This repository contains the data, simulation outputs, validation outputs, and analysis scripts associated with the manuscript “An Individual-Based Model of Breeding-Season White Storks (Ciconia ciconia) in Germany”. The dataset supports the development, parameterisation, and evaluation of STRIDE, the Stork Trajectory and Resource-based Individual Dynamics model. The archive includes input data, STRIDE simulation outputs, model validation outputs, and analysis scripts required to reproduce the reported workflow. The repository is organised into separate folders for input data, STRIDE simulation outputs, validation outputs, and analysis scripts. Each folder contains its own metadata or description file documenting the contents and intended use of the files within that folder. A general metadata file and a session information file are also provided to document the overall archive structure and the computational environment used for the analyses. Together, these materials support transparent reuse, verification, and reproducibility of the analyses presented in the associated manuscript. Note: The movement data used in this repository include a subset derived from the Movebank dataset “MPIAB Argos white stork tracking (1991–2017)” and are cited according to the original dataset record.
