Functional dissimilarity of bacterial communities and global bacterial genomes

This file contains datasets that were produced from the analysis of the functional dissimilarity of bacterial communities from freshwater (microcosms) and from bacterial genomes accessed from the Genome Taxonomy Database (GTDB). This file serve as the input to produce the graphs from the Article "A global eco-evolutionary pattern of bacterial functional diversity". It contains:meta_alpha.csv: The alpha functional dissimilarity (Rao) of 14 bacterial communitiesmeta_beta.csv: The beta functional dissimilarity (DKG) of 14 bacterial communities, i.e., 91 pairs of micrososmsmeta_gamma.csv: The gamma functional dissimilarity (Bray-Curtis) of 122 MAGs recovered from 20 microcosmsdifference_allKOcat.csv: The calculated difference between the median functional dissimilarity of 999 random subsets of each 10, 25, 50,122, and 200 genomes for each functional categories and the median functional dissimilarity of all functional genesdf_nb_genes.csv: number of functional genes (unique Kegg Orthologs (KOs)) for each functional categories in both the recovered MAGs from the microcosms and genomes from the GTDB.
