资源简介:

This repository contains the MATLAB analysis scripts and processed model data used to reproduce all figures presented in the manuscript “Microbial Niche Partitioning Explains N2O Distributions and Cycling in Marine Oxygen Minimum Zones” by McCoy et al. The processed data are derived from an eddy-resolving ROMS--BEC simulation of the Eastern Tropical South Pacific oxygen minimum zone that explicitly resolves microbial functional types involved in nitrogen cycling. The master MATLAB script paper_figures_PNAS_submission.m contains the analysis and plotting routines used to reproduce all main-text and supplementary figures, using the corresponding processed .mat files provided in this repository. The complete ROMS--BEC model source code, configuration, and forcing files are archived separately.Several processed observational datasets used for model comparison are also included. tracer_obs_profiles.mat contains observational profiles compiled from datasets archived on PANGAEA and described in Kalvelage et al. (2013), Cornejo et al. (2015), and Krahmann et al. (2021). vali_data.mat contains processed observational N2O production data compiled from Frey et al. (2020), Ji et al. (2018), and Kelly et al. (2024). Additional profiles from Kelly et al. (2024) are included in Kelly_2024_n2o.mat. Users interested in the original observational data should refer to the cited publications and associated data repositories. Kalvelage et al. (2013): 10.1038/ngeo1739 Cornejo et al.
