Specialized, Refined, Featured, and Innovative (SFFI) small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) constitute the backbone force in the gradient cultivation system of high-quality SMEs. These enterprises are registered within the territory of the People's Republic of China, comply with the national standards for enterprise size classification, deeply cultivate niche markets, and embody the four core traits of specialization, refinement, distinctiveness, and innovation. Boasting strong innovation capabilities and excellent quality and economic benefits, they focus on their core businesses, hold core intellectual property rights, and occupy a relatively high market share in their respective niche segments. As an important pillar for strengthening, supplementing and stabilizing industrial chains, eligible SFFI SMEs can apply for upgrading to the national-level "Little Giant" enterprise status in accordance with relevant regulations.
