Reasons for reading community newspapers in Canada 2023

According to a study conducted in November 2023, the vast majority of Canadians, that is, 90 percent, read community newspapers in order to be updated on local information, such as local news, events and more. About 40 to 50 percent of surveyed Canadians stated to read community newspapers for their advertising or for jobs/real estate information respectively.
