资源简介:
Long-term care facility (LTCF) residents frequently receive antimicrobial therapy. Our aim was to study the faecal microbiome diversity of LTCF residents during an antimicrobial stewardship programme (ASP) and to characterize the association with multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacterial colonization. These data suggest that interventions targeting the microbiome, such as antimicrobial stewardship programmes, can prevent MDR bacterial acquisition by decreasing the relative abundance of certain bacterial genera
