Identification of biomarkers of renal cell carcinoma

This study aims to identify molecular biomarkers associated with renal cell carcinoma (RCC), with a particular focus on tumors exhibiting renal intravascular tumor extension (RITE), an aggressive clinical phenotype associated with poor outcomes. By analyzing transcriptomic profiles derived from surgically resected tumor, tumor thrombus, and adjacent normal kidney tissues, the study seeks to characterize gene expression patterns and biological pathways underlying tumor invasiveness and vascular extension. The resulting data are intended to improve understanding of RCC tumor biology, support the discovery of prognostic and predictive biomarkers, and provide a publicly available resource to facilitate future translational and computational research in kidney cancer.
