This project aims to develop a real-time computational framework for modeling and simulating human musculoskeletal function using muscle electromyography (EMG), foot-ground reaction forces (GRF) and three-dimensional marker trajectories from motion capture systems. The framework will combine the Calibrated EMG-Informed Neuromusculoskeletal Modelling Toolbox (CEINMS) (https://simtk.org/projects/ceinms), the Multidimensional Cubic B-Spline method (https://simtk.org/projects/mcbs) and the inverse kinematics/dynamics functionalities of the OpenSim software (https://simtk.org/projects/opensim). <br/><br/>This project includes the following software/data packages: <br/> <ul> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=1219#pack_2120">MTUSpline </a> : C++ code for creating and using spline for musculo tendon unit kinematics (Moment arm and muscle-tendon length from joint angle) </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=1219#pack_2121">RTIKIDQualisys </a> : C++ code for computing in real-time IK and ID using OpenSim and the Qualisys motion capture system. </li> </ul>
