Human HEK293 cultured cells were used to test the role of CPSF6 on polyadenylation of mRNA. So RNA seq was done on HEK293 WT, HEK293 cells lacking CPSF6 (called as CKO) and CKO cells complemented with CPSF6 mutants. Total RNA was isolated and 75-bp paired-end sequencing was done on the NextSeq 500 of Illumina platform.
