Partial Least Squares Regression reveals the influence of dump characteristics on mammalian visitation to solid waste sites.

The provided data is a result of the Master's dissertation at the Wildlife Institute of India. The project investigated the drivers of terrestrial mammalian visitations at garbage dumps around the western part of Rajaji Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand. We assessed the effect of spatial, anthropogenic, and ecological variables on the visitations of the species at the garbage dumps using Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR) analysis. The dataset collected and the R codes used in this study are published here.
