Renal transcriptome of the desert adapted Jaculus jaculus during water restriction and rehydration

Jaculus jaculus were split into three experimental groups: control (water access ad libitum), dehydrated (11 days water restriction), and rehydrated (7 days water restriction followed by 3 days water ad libitum). Kidney samples were extracted and sequenced to investigate changes in gene expression during osmotic challenge in a desert adapted model. Overall design: Whole Jaculus jaculus left kidney samples from control (n=4), dehydrated (n=4), rehydrated (n=5) groups
