Rosenhöhe V1
收藏资源简介:
Rosenhöhe is a site-specific experiment inspired by and created in the Park Rosenhöhe Darmstadt and the New Artist's Colony within it. The piece uses recordings from the park, and recordings of the electromagnetic sounds of the park, in two separate electroacoustic compositions. Tied to the violinist's bow, the trombone slide is motion tracked and allows the performers to mix between the 'real' and 'hidden' tape tracks and shape the soundscape live. Gravity allows both musicians control over the push and pull of their instruments and the electronics. This work was created and performed at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse 2023. Thank you to collaborators Myra Hinrichs (violin) and Vasily Ratmansky (trombone), as well as Kalun Leung for helping to workshop ideas and Darmstadt tutors Sarah Saviet and Arne Gieshoff.
