Epidermal mucus from Anguilla anguilla Viral genome sequencing. viral metagenome

The aim of the study has been to describe the viruses which are attached and replicating in the microbiota present in the mucus of eels. To do this, we have sequenced and analysed the viral population associated to superficial microbiota of eels sampled at different points and stages in the Mediterranean coast using NGS technologies.
