Rock Glacier Occurrence Susceptibility Map of the Tibetan Plateau

This dataset contains a GeoTIFF map of rock glacier occurrence susceptibility (RGOS) across the Tibetan Plateau. The susceptibility index was derived using a generalized boosted model (GBM) trained with an inventory of 36,675 rock glaciers and environmental predictor variables. The model captures the relationships between rock glacier occurrence and environmental conditions across different climatic regimes. RGOS values range from −1 to 1, with positive values indicating conditions favorable for rock glacier development and negative values indicating unfavorable conditions.
