The sublethally injured cells, that could repair in a proper environment, would be induced by high hydrostatic pressure (HHP) technology. In order to avoid the potential safety hazards caused by sublethally injured cell repair, the synergistic sterilization method of protocatechuic acid (PCA) and HHP was used to enhanced the sterilization effect. In this study, the trancriptome analysis was employed for the sublethally injured cells (induced by HHP and PCA), the repaired cells, and the synergistic injured cells to clarify the differences in the transcriptional responses.
