Mapping-by-sequencing data for mutant allele mf57 (Oscheius tipulae). mf57_Oscheius-mapping

The Oscheius tipulae strain JU85 carries the recessive mutation mf57 in the CEW1 background (reference genome). mf57 is an allele of the locus cov-2, published in Louvet-Vallee S. et al., 2003 (PMID:12586702)In order to map and identify this mutation, it was crossed with the mapping strain JU170. Genomic DNA was extracted and pooled from 44 independent mutant F2 lines and sent for sequencing on a Illumina Hiseq 2000 plateform to generate 100-bp paired-end reads.
