BepiColombo MPO-MAG Partially Processed Data

This collection contains partially_processed magnetic field vector data and housekeeping data obtained by the MPO-MAG magnetometer aboard the BepiColombo MPO s/c. All field values and housekeeping data are given in counts. The magnetic field is given in unit reference frame (urf). No calibration has bee applied. Files are separated by mission phases, housekeeping and science data, and sensors. In contrast to the raw data, partially processed science data combine the magnetic field science data with housekeeping temperature data, clipping information and field compensation values in a common file. This preparation guarantees an easy and proper generation of calibrated data in a following step. Furhtermore, partially processed data contain flags for each vector indication any TM errors or instrument effects. For proper scientific research calibrated or derived data should be used once available. Partially processed Raw data are intended to be used for diagnosis purpose only.
