This dataset is compiled and processed based on "Xinjiang Soil Species Annals", originally compiled by the Agricultural Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and published by Xinjiang Science, Technology and Health Publishing House in 1993. This work is one of the monographs presenting the results of the second Xinjiang Soil Survey, systematically consolidating and organizing relatively detailed information for 344 local soil species. For the purposes of soil science professionalization and facilitating future development of online query platforms, the dataset developers have designed 5... with soil species ID and name as the key indices.
