U.S. teen girls on the effects of using social media platforms 2022

According to an online survey conducted in 2022, 65 percent of teenage girls in the United States felt that YouTube had a mostly positive effect on people their age. Additionally, 43 percent of respondents said that TikTok had a mostly positive effect on people their age, while 26 percent reported that TikTok had a mostly negative effect.
