This data collection was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the State University of Montes Claros (nº 1,365,041/2015). Participants were informed about the study procedures and signed a free and informed consent form.<br>The following criteria were used to evaluate the cognition: Mini-Mental State Examination, Digit Span Test, Verbal Fluency and Trail Making Test.<br><br> Mini-Mental State Examination: Global cognition was assessed using the Brazilian version of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), with cut-off points according to the level of education: 13 points for illiterates, 18 points for low-average education (up to eight years of education), and 26 points for highly educated subjects (&gt; 8 years of schooling).Digit Span Test (WAIS-R): The Digit Span Test (DST) requires immediate memory retention and reversibility. DST is composed of two parts, in both the participant must retain in memory and repeat the digits presented by the examiner, in the direct order (short term memory) and in the reverse order (working memory).Verbal Fluency (animal category): The verbal fluency test consists of asking the participant to speak as many animals as possible within a one-minute interval Semantic fluency, language and executive function are evaluated.Trail Making Test (TMTA): Visuospatial attention was assessed using TMTA. Circles numbered from 1 to 25 are displayed, randomly distributed, where the subject must use a pen to connect the circles in ascending order. The time taken for the individual to complete the task correctly is timed.<br><b>Intervention procedures</b>All groups performed 24 training sessions, lasting 30 to 45 minutes each, twice a week. The intensity was measured according the rated perceived exertion (RPE) targeting a moderate effort (5-6 points).<br>Participants in the EXG performed the following games from Nintendo Wii: Rowing Squat, In Line Lunge, Table Tilt, Sword Play Duel, Sword Play Showdown. In the thirteenth session of exergames, games Table Tilt, Sword Play Duel, Sword Play Showdown were replaced the following games: Penguin Slide, Perfect 10 and Tilt City. <br>Individuals in the SG performed the following strength and balance exercises: rowing squat, anteroposterior squat, Squat on the trampoline, lat pull down, and shoulder adduction combined with elbow extension (exercise in the orthostatic posture using a high pulley on the cross-over device).<br>Persons allocated in the AG performed a walking or jogging on a treadmill in a moderate intensity (40-59% of the heart rate reserve or 5-6 points of RPE. The intensity was progressive, according to the subjective perception of effort (SPE) of 0 to 10 points, measured throughout the training program, following the official position of ACSM. Participants were instructed to keep the SPE between 5 and 6 points (moderate effort). When the SPE was less than 05 points, the intensity was increased until the determined value was reached.<br>
