Environmental covariates for digital soil mapping of soil pH

This dataset contains the major environmental covariates for 21 provinces. The spatial resolution is approximately 30 m, and the coordinate reference system (CRS) is WGS 1984 (geographic coordinates, unprojected). For each province, the spatial extent has been buffered by approximately 2 km beyond the official provincial boundary. Each provincial archive contains four folders: 1980, 2010, 2023, and Static. 1980: Multi-year averages of dynamic environmental covariates (e.g., climate variables) for a period of approximately five years centered around 1980. 2010: Multi-year averages of dynamic environmental covariates for a period of approximately ten years centered around 2010. 2023: Multi-year averages of dynamic environmental covariates for the five years preceding 2023.
