ICSHM-EO Atrato: Earth Observation-based Composite Index of Mining Water Security applied to the Atrato River Basin, Colombia

The ICSHM-EO (Earth Observation-based Composite Index of Mining Water Security) combines four satellite indicators (CHIRPS precipitation P-Score, Sentinel-2 NDTI water turbidity, Hansen forest loss, MapBiomas mining area) into a composite index of water security applied to 170 HydroBASINS level 9 subbasins of the Atrato River, Colombia. This dataset supports the pilot application of the composite index in a data-sparse territory of the Colombian Pacific, recognized as a subject of rights under Constitutional Court Sentence T-622/2016.
