Historical Sea Surface Salinity data in the Southern Ocean

These data have been collected in the Southern Ocean between Tasmania and Antarctica from 1993 to 2002 with a thermosalinograph on board L’Astrolabe and validated by the national Sea Surface Salinity Observation Service (SSS-OS) at the Laboratoire d'Etudes en Geophysique et Oceanographie Spatiale (LEGOS), Toulouse, France. The SURVOSTRAL project (https://www.legos.omp.eu/survostral/) is an international collaboration between France (IPEV, LEGOS), Australia (CSIRO) and the US (Scripps, NOAA).
