Suwannee River Estuary Model Inputs

This dataset contains all input values necessary to replicate the base run of the Suwannee River Estuary Model (SREM). The SREM uses the Ecopath with Ecosim (EwE) ecosystem modeling software package v6.7.0 (compiled May 2024). The SREM was calibrated in Ecosim from 1997-2020. Spatial simulations were run over the same time period and compared to observed data. Model inputs were derived from a variety of locally collected data on fish and invertebrates, habitat, and water quality. When local data were not available, inputs were derived from literature values or borrowed from other models of nearby or similar systems. Input parameters include biomass density, production or mortality rate, consumption rate, diet composition, fishery landings and discards, calibrated foraging arena parameters, time series of observed relative abundance, environmental forcing time series, movement rates, and habitat preferences.
