Single-nucleus RNA sequencing of human subcutaneous adipose tissue biopsies from 16 Finnish participants.

Single-nucleus RNA-seq was performed to characterize the transcriptomes of cell types in human subcutaneous adipose tissue. Biopsies from 16 Finnish participants from the Finnish Twin Study and CRYO study were included. Nuclei were isolated from fresh-frozen subcutaneous adipose tissue biopsies using manual homogenization, washing, and straining. Libraries were prepared with the 10X Chromium platform and the 10X single cell 3' protocol.
