Abortion Activists in the United States, 1980

In one of the earliest studies of abortion activists, Granberg collected data on the social, psychological, political and religious characteristics of members of National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) and National Right to Life Committee (NRLC). Eight hundred and ninety-five activists answered questions about their positions on abortion-related issues as well as other political and social issues. The study is one of the few to compare activists on both sides of the abortion issue and their characteristics. The Murray Archive holds additional analogue materials for this study.
