This dataset contains reconstructed X-ray micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) image data of Melanotaenia praecox (adult) and Stephanolepis cirrhifer (larva).
Image reconstruction was performed using coneCTexpress (White Rabbit Corp.).
These datasets were used for three-dimensional morphological analyses and figure generation in the associated manuscript currently under review at Nature Communications. The data include reconstructed volumetric images and serial cross-sectional image stacks. Raw projection data are not included.
