High-resolution gridded rainfall dataset for Peru - PISCOp v2.2 dataset

Development of high-resolution daily and monthly gridded rainfall dataset over Peru (PISCOp) version 2.2, for the 1981–2019 period at ~10 km (0.1°) spatial resolution for the entire continental Peruvian territory. The <strong>PISCOp</strong> framework presents four main procedures: i) quality control, and ii) gap filling of raingauge datasets. Then, iii) spatial interpolation of daily and monthly rainfall using spatial predictors based on rainfall precipitation, radar-gauge merged precipitation climatologies, among others. After that, a iv) simple monthly correction factor applied to daily estimates. The dataset are based version 2.1 update.
