The hygrothermal performance of building envelopes is a critical research topic in building physics, as it affects building durability, energy consumption levels, and indoor living comfort. Conducting hygrothermal analysis via WUFI Pro, a one-dimensional transient heat and moisture transfer model, requires correctly establishing structural models, setting boundary conditions, and adopting reasonable calculation methods to obtain results as close to reality as possible. WUFI Pro has been widely applied in various building types including timber structures, and positively contributes to the development and utilization of new building materials and construction forms. However, the substantial workload required for determining input parameters has restricted the software's application to a certain degree.
