This series contains the notebooks of the Royal Commissioner The Honourable Mr Acting Justice J.P. Slattery A.O. of the Chelmsford Royal Commission.The notebooks start with an alphabetical tab entering all witnesses alphabetically with the day that they appeared at the hearings. After the tab each day of the hearing is written in blue ink at the top of the page and a rubber stamp of the day on the same page.The time and name of the witnesses were recorded down the right hand side with the legal counsel in brackets on the left hand side. Some note appear and Exhibits and MFI's (marked for identification) were written in red ink. Those who sought leave were written in red link. Non publication order comments were also noted as were out of court or in camera testimony.
